Lubbock, Texas is the home to a wide variety of garden clubs. Our excellent soil and interesting seasons make gardening a favorite pastime. Our semi-arid environment means that choice of plants and water conservation practices provide a challenge to newcomers. Gardeners who come to live here from areas with greater rainfall and more temperate seasons are surprised to discover the joys of growing plants in our world. Garden Clubs of Lubbock are devoted to helping gardeners from all backgrounds. Their goals are:
