Margaret Coil, a native of Oklahoma, moved to Lubbock in 1949. She has had a long interest in gardening, and in 1960 became a charter member of the Petal Pushers Garden Club. She is also a charter member of the South Plains Plant Society. In 1965, she became accredited as a National Council of State Garden Clubs Flower Show Judge, and is now a judge as well as a Master Texas Design Consultant. Mrs. Coil has held various offices in numerous garden club groups including the President of Texas Garden Clubs, Inc. Current Endowment Total $26,414.00 |
